Grand Isle, VT – The Patrick Leahy Lake Champlain Basin Program (LCBP) will host a talk by the LCBP’s Chief Scientist Dr. Matthew Vaughan on Tuesday, August 6th for a summer edition of the Love the Lake speaker series. Please join us for a public presentation on the 2024 State of the Lake and Ecosystem Indicators Report.
Produced every three years using the most current scientific data, the report documents ongoing challenges and recent successes in the management of Lake Champlain’s water quality and ecosystem. Dr. Vaughan will review the findings of the report and share key insights and takeaways for community members of the Lake Champlain Basin.
This FREE public program begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Lake Champlain Basin Program office at 54 West Shore Road, Grand Isle, Vermont, located just north of the Grand Isle ferry entrance.
