The heavy rains of mid-summer 2008 flooded roads, towns and fields throughout the Lake Champlain watershed in New York, Vermont and Quebec. These rains caused serious problems for both public and private landowners and for Lake Champlain as heavy loads of sediments washed into the Lake.

Please note: These photos are intended to show examples of the flooding, not problems with specific land owners and/or towns.
